Simple start-up
To start work with the generator, simply use the simple electric ignition procedure. Two keys are supplied and the correct sequence for starting the generator is shown graphically on the cab and in greater detail in the technical manual.

The facility for connecting a TTY control unit means that the generator can be interfaced with a terrestrial system to switch on automatically in the event of a fault or failure.

With the emergency button, it will be possible to interrupt the power supply in the event of sudden need or malfunction of devices in operation.

Smoke and heat emission
One section of the generator is dedicated to exhausting the fumes, through the appropriate silencer, and dissipating the heat produced by the engine's work.

During use, the generating set must be placed in safe conditions in accordance with the instructions present and indicated in the product manual, in order to avoid mechanical breakdowns of the unit and to avoid malfunctions of the products connected to it.

To ensure sufficient air circulation to disperse the carbon monoxide emissions produced during operation, the generator must be placed outdoors in a suitable and safe location.

Don't forget the engine oil
The oil tank is accessible by opening the door near the plug panel. 1.65 litres of lubricating fluid are needed to fill the tank and, for the first use, it is necessary to fill it completely (the generator is delivered without oil).

It's always a good idea to check the lubricant level in the special tank, so that you can top it up if necessary. The technical manual indicates the times and methods for carrying out routine maintenance correctly, in order to maintain the efficiency of the generating set and extend its life.

We recommend using a high-quality oil with a viscosity of SAE 15w40 or 10w30.

Refuelling
The engine of the BXGND5300E generator is diesel-powered, and the corresponding tank can be accessed via the convenient access at the top of the generator.

A handy indicator lets you check the amount of residual fuel in real time, so you know immediately if you really need to top up to continue the session.
