The photovoltaic panels produce electricity using the sun's rays. The inverter converts the direct current produced by your panels into alternating current, which is fed into your grid or stored in batteries.
These batteries recharge very quickly and are capable of storing large quantities of electricity.
This means you can USE SOLAR ELECTRICITY DURING THE DAY AND ALSO AT NIGHT, making you completely self-sufficient in electricity.
To be on the safe side, you can keep your subscription with an electricity supplier, but only use it when you need it.
Solar panels can be installed on the roof with a declaration to the local council, or on the ground without authorisation if they are less than 1.80 m high.
