The TW Solar 405 W module has been designed using Multi-busbar technology, and Half-cut technology, which reduces power loss, giving an additional output gain of between 5 and 10 W. A complementary solution has also been used to increase the module's efficiency, namely High Density Encapsulation, to achieve a gain of 0.15%. Compared with typical PV modules in the same class, TW Solar is unrivalled.

TW Solar 405 W is constructed from 108 monocrystalline photovoltaic cells (PERC) set in a corrosion-resistant anodised lightweight aluminium alloy frame and covered with a 3.2 mm thick panel of high light transmission glass. The glass has an anti-reflective (AR) coating and is thermally fortified. All this is in addition to a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year solar warranty.
